AudioKit is once again proud to introduce a new free and open-source library for you to use in your apps. We’re calling it “Controls” and it contains many of the elements required to create a synthesizer interface, such as knobs, sliders, pitch and modulation wheels and two-dimensional controls like XY-Pads and joysticks.
In addition, you can more easily create your own custom controls using the provided “Control” and “Geometry” that does the work of converting gestures to parameter changes.
Aurelius Prochazka, the founder of AudioKit, created this library and plans to add more controls to the repository so, if you need something he hasn’t created yet, let him know.
And by the way, we’re still not done, there are more of these UI libraries to come. Stay tuned!
