Music app developer Cem Olcay has a track record of releasing great apps. His latest app in his “bud” series is RhythmBud. It’s a MIDI effect app that transforms incoming MIDI messages into rhythmic patterns. It can be used with hardware devices or other apps using AUv3 (Audio Unit plugin), Audiobus, Inter-App Audio (IAA), Ableton Link, and Core MIDI.
Plus, it’s built with AudioKit.
Cem gives back to the developer community. You may be surprised to learn he gives a lot of his source code away for free. He has generously posted several great code examples on Github.
