Music Technologist Yi Wu has finished his excellent master’s degree project at Georgia Tech.
Using AudioKit, he built an interactive environmental audio app for the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
Yi Wu cleverly divided the garden into geo-fenced areas he calls “Ripples”.
As a user walks through the garden, the app will generate a unique listening experience. Using a blend of environmental audio and a user’s location, the app creates an immersive audio experience to augment the botanical garden experience.
Additionally, the app acts as an audio navigational tool for users exploring the garden.
