Well, this beauty isn’t a clone, so it doesn’t load hardware presets. We prefer innovation over imitation, right? All the presets you’ll find here are brand new and original, designed to give you a fresh palette of sounds that you can fully customize. And the best part? Crafting your own presets is super easy. How can this app use A1 waveforms?
The Nord Lead A1’s innovative approach to sound generation, utilizing pure synthesis to craft its extended waveforms, places it in a unique position regarding legal sampling. Since it generates sounds from scratch, rather than relying on pre-existing wavetables, it inherently allows for the legal sampling of its output. This distinction is crucial, as wavetable-based synths might involve copyrighted material, restricting sampling rights. However, with the A1’s purely synthetic method, users can freely sample its sounds, ensuring compliance with legal standards and fostering creative freedom.
